At Saguaro Christian Church (SCC), we realize that the passing of a loved one is difficult, one of life’s hardest moments.
Jesus calls us to be a people of compassion and grace.  This is a call that we understand as we minister to the family and friends left behind.

When the need for a funeral or memorial service occurs, church members should contact the church office as soon as possible.
Such a service will take absolute primacy in the life of the church and the ministerial staff will help guide the deceased family’s preparations
for the funeral and/or memorial service.

We also understand that our friends within the broader community are not always connected to a faith community.
In this circumstance we aim to be a people of hospitality and hope.  We will try to accommodate the deceased family’s request,
but know that availability (of building and ministerial staff) is sometimes an issue.

For Funerals and memorial services, please consider the following guidelines and fees.

  • All services are conducted by current ministers and musicians of SCC.
Outside minister may participate by invitation of SCC.
  • Alcohol and illegal drugs are not allowed in the SCC buildings or on the grounds.
  • Smoking is not allowed in the SCC buildings or near any entrance or air-conditioning vents.
  • Weapons are not allowed in the SCC buildings and the SCC grounds.
