Evangelism

This ministry leads the spreading of God’s message as well as the Good News that Saguaro Christian Church is a place you can feel welcome. We offer everyone the opportunity to use their time and talents to bring the message of Jesus Christ to the community and the world. For more information or to be involved with this ministry please contact Frank Terry.

Fellowship

Our goal as fellowship ministry is to provide opportunities to get together and enjoy one another, to welcome new and potential members, to support and enjoy one another’s company and to establish communication. We hope to provide an avenue for expression of new ideas, shared concerns and outreach to our community beyond our church walls. We began our year with a super bowl party and will likely end it with a New Year’s Eve celebration. Those who would like to help out or be involved in the planning may contact our co-chairs Kathy Lindsay or Sharon Dely. Watch this web site, your church bulletin and your news letter for further details and dates.

Nurture

Our goal is to create a feeling of family throughout our membership. We eagerly welcome new members and visitors with receptions several times a year. This is a time to share the origins of our faith, our many special programs, show off our campus and answer questions. Our committee send birthday greetings, getwell wishes and cards of sympathy and caring. During difficult times, we strive to support our church family with care and love through providing meals, visits or assisting with other needs. We help coordinate health-centered programs like flu-immunization clinics for our community. A picture wall, member service directory, and a church family bulletin board, are projects being refined or developed. Stewardship

Stewardship comes from the concept that all we have and all that we are comes from God, who has gifted us with talents and abilities, through which we relate to others, earn a living and interact in our daily life. Just as in life we show our appreciation by using the gifts we receive, God asks us to share the gifts we have been given. My name is Michael Cleveland and I am leading the Stewardship ministry at Saguaro Christian Church. If you are interested in learning more about our stewardship ministry or if you are interested in participating in this ministry please give me a call at (520) 440 1253.
